The Team Leader reports directly to the Managed Services Manager. He/she will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations as directed by the Managed Services Manager or the Assistant Manager. The Team Leader will also assist with training program participants and temporary workers in correct, appropriate, and safe work behaviors. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. 1.Develop a daily work schedule by identifying the production needs of Caterpillar at the beginning of each shift. 2.Collaborate with the Assistant Manager and Manager. to maintain adequate worker levels necessary to complete work in a timely manner. 3.Quality control on all work performed in Managed Services. 4.Prepare all necessary shipping documents and assure quantities are accurate. 5.Ensure that all temporary workers and trainees follow all guidelines and quality control procedures as directed by the customer. 6.Assist with shipping/receiving activities and inventory control. 7.Attend all meetings as directed by the Managed Services Manager. 8.Report needs and shortages of production supplies to the Assistant Manager. 9.Serve as a backup delivery driver when needed. 10.Complete 40 hours of annual job-related training. Other Responsibilities: 1.Serve as a representative of the agency when interacting with customers, adhering to the Agency Code of Professional Conduct. 2.Complete appropriate incident reports. 3.Attend all required meetings and agency staff meetings. 4.Perform other related duties as assigned. This job operates in a factory environment with material-moving equipment and other equipment with moving parts. The noise level in this environment can be loud. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Qualifications: •High School Diploma or GED is required •Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred. •Attention to detail and ability to prioritization skills. •Valid Illinois Driver’s License Class C is required. •Strong organizational and customer service skills. Solid communication and interpersonal skills •Ability to process computer data and format/generate reports. •Advanced Microsoft Office skills such as PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, and Word Regular working hours are 6:00a.m. to 2:30p.m. (1/2 hour lunch) Monday – Friday.
