SoBoL Stamford is looking for a friendly, reliable Team Member to join our team!

We are an açaí bowl and smoothie shop focused on serving fresh, delicious products in a fun, energetic environment. We take pride in providing great customer service, preparing high-quality products, and creating a welcoming experience for every customer.

This position is primarily for weekday evening closing shifts (typically 3:00 PM–8:00 PM) and weekend shifts. Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays is required.


We are looking for someone interested in working 20+ hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours based on availability and store needs. Shifts are generally 4–8 hours.

The ideal candidate is dependable, responsible, and comfortable working independently, including handling store closing responsibilities without direct supervision.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service
• Prepare açaí bowls, smoothies, waffles, and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
• Operate the POS system and handle customer transactions accurately
• Follow established closing procedures, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing the store for the following day
• Prepare ingredients and restock products as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
• Assist with opening and/or closing the store
• Work efficiently with other team members during busy periods
• Ensure the store is properly maintained and secured at closing

What We're Looking For:

• Regular availability for weekday evening shifts (typically 3:00 PM–8:00 PM)
• Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
• Ability to work for 20+ hours per week
• Reliable and punctual, particularly for scheduled weekend shifts
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer-service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Responsible and detail-oriented, particularly when following closing procedures
• Willingness to learn and follow company recipes and procedures
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds
• Reliable transportation
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one

Preferred:

• Previous restaurant, café, smoothie/juice bar, retail, or customer-service experience
• Experience handling closing responsibilities in a retail or food-service environment
• Interest in creating occasional social media content for the store, including Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok
