The Opportunity

As a Team Member at Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop, you will be on the front line of guest experience: making delicious treats, keeping the shop running smoothly, and helping turn everyday moments into something a little sweeter. This is a great role whether you are starting your first job or looking for a place to build your skills and grow.

You will learn how to handle busy rushes, work as part of a tight-knit team, and develop customer service and cash-handling skills that can open doors to future leadership opportunities in retail, hospitality, or beyond.

What You'll Do

• Scoop, blend, and serve ice cream, shakes, and other treats with friendly, upbeat service.
• Keep the line moving efficiently while making guests feel welcome and appreciated.
• Operate the register, handle payments accurately, and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout your shift.
• Pitch in wherever needed and support your teammates during busy periods and rushes.

What Success Looks Like

• Within your first few weeks, you confidently follow recipes, portion sizes, and serving standards while maintaining a positive guest experience.
• You consistently handle orders and payments accurately, helping minimize errors and keep lines moving quickly.
• You are known as someone who shows up on time, helps keep the shop clean and inviting, and can be counted on during busy shifts.
• Guests regularly comment on friendly service, and teammates enjoy working with you because you communicate clearly and help where needed.

What We're Looking For

• Positive energy, genuine people skills, and a desire to make someone’s day better.
• Reliability and responsibility: you show up on time and follow through on commitments.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible availability across days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with an interest in taking on more responsibility over time.

Compensation and Benefits

• $18–$23 per hour (including tips)
