Jersey Mike's Subs is looking for their new batch of Team Members who are friendly, enthusiastic, and who genuinely enjoy serving guests. Ideally, you are someone who shares same passion for food, has good knowledge of how cash registers operate, and loves the idea of providing guests with quality customer service experience. Previous experience in customer service or similar roles is always an advantage, although not required.
To excel in this role, you should be passionate about customer service and thrives in a fast-paced working environment. Being able to work irregular hours over the week, and over weekends and public holidays when needed is a requirement.

RATE OF PAY: $24 - $25 *BOE*. Pay rate includes tips which averages $4.00 or MORE per hour worked.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ability to stand for long hours at work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to bend, reach, and regularly lift 20 to 40 lbs throughout shift
- Responsible for stocking ingredients from delivery area to work area, walk-in cooler, and storage.
- Answer and take phone orders
- Follow daily checklists
- Work and communicate effectively with co-workers and management
- Respond to questions, concerns, and complaints from customers, vendors, or clients
- Prioritize important tasks and manage your time effectively
- Man and operate equipment relative to your role
- Maintain professionalism
Requirements:
- High school diploma with or without relevant experience
- Friendly, reliable, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet for long periods
- Ability to work irregular hours (day and night shifts)
- Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous
- People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
- Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
- Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture
- High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment
- Slicer must be at least 18 years old
