Teamcenter Developer, Reality Labs

The Devices MCAD team is seeking a Teamcenter Developer to serve as the technical leader and system owner for Meta's Teamcenter PDM environment, supporting the mechanical engineering product development community across Reality Labs Devices. You will be accountable for the architecture, stability, performance, and evolution of the Teamcenter platform-spanning production infrastructure, integrations with adjacent systems, major upgrade programs, and cross-functional partnership with Infrastructure, PLM, and Enterprise Products teams. This is a strategic, hands-on architect role where you will define solution architecture for complex PLM projects, lead upgrade and integration programs from requirements through go-live, and maintain deep technical expertise in Teamcenter administration and customization.Own the Teamcenter/NX solution architecture for MCAD, defining technical direction for system evolution, integrations, and scalability Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical solution designs; lead design reviews with cross-functional stakeholders (PLM, EP, Infrastructure) Propose and drive system improvements for enhanced performance, scalability, and user experience Plan environment strategy (Development, Test, UAT, Production) and manage production clone/refresh processes Lead Teamcenter upgrade programs end-to-end, coordinating with Siemens on solution architecture, licensing, IRs, and issue resolution Drive cross-functional system integration projects in partnership with Infrastructure, PLM, and Enterprise Products teams Manage project timelines, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation across multiple workstreams Administer Teamcenter environments including installation, configuration, BMIDE customization, deployment of templates, and maintenance/patch management Manage Active Workspace configuration and deployment; maintain and optimize system performance Develop scripts and tools for data extraction, transformation, and synchronization Enable external design partner access and collaboration (firewall coordination, TPA management, certificate updates, release process access) Support onboarding of new teams and programs to Teamcenter (project setup, user onboarding, data access, process definition) Serve as technical liaison between MCAD and Infrastructure, PLM, and Enterprise Products teams; build and maintain productive vendor relationships Lead change management communications and act as first point of contact for critical production issues; drive resolution of P0/P1 systemic problems Provide technical guidance and training to team members and end users; create and maintain documentation including installation processes, best practices, and troubleshooting guides Leverage AI tools to improve day-to-day productivity and develop AI-powered tools for Teamcenter/NX usersBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems and Technology, Mathematics, or a related field 6+ years of experience in Teamcenter administration and architecture Experience with Teamcenter installation, configuration, customization (ITK/SOA), BMIDE, and deployment-including with NX integration Experience with Active Workspace configuration and administration Track record leading Teamcenter upgrades and go-live events Experience with Teamcenter workflows, ACLs, Organization, Classification, Structure Manager, Revision Rules, and Variant Rules Experience creating batch scripts and automation for Teamcenter operations Experience managing production, test, and development environments including database installation and production clones Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Experience with Siemens vendor relationship management and escalation processes Exposure to sustainability/LCA modules in Teamcenter Experience with testing automation frameworks for PLM environments Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Background in change management and stakeholder communications for large engineering communities (2000+ users) Experience with Teamcenter data integrations (APIs, SOA services, SQL-based extractions)Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
