Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech (Sonographer) for a travel position at a busy acute care unit. The role involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures independently, primarily during overnight shifts, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdomen, obstetrics, gynecology, vascular, and transplant procedures.
• Operate GE LOGIC 10 ultrasound equipment with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR and ensure proper patient records.
• Adhere to unit policies, including Trophon protocol, and facilitate onboarding procedures.
• Work independently during overnight shifts, managing patient interactions and technical assessments.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout procedures.

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado licensure as an Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer.
• Minimum of 6 months' recent experience in an acute care setting.
• Registered with ARRT (VS) or RVT preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Pediatric and transplant procedure experience highly regarded.
• Strong ability to work independently with dependable work ethic.
