Job Title: Developer Platform/Product
We are seeking a highly skilled Developer Platform/Product with a strong focus on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of building and maintaining scalable platforms and products. This role requires a deep understanding of container orchestration and cloud native technologies, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services on Google Kubernetes Engine.
Implement best practices for container orchestration, deployment, and management.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other developers to define and implement new features.
Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to cloud computing and containerization.
Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and container orchestration.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform).
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker Swarm, Apache Mesos).
Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on platform/product development.
Proven experience working with Google Kubernetes Engine and cloud native technologies.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
