About the Role:

As a Technical Account Manager at eSentire, you are the trusted technical advisor and outcome delivery partner for customers. You work independently day to day and build strong relationships with technical buyers and champions. You partner with an Account Manager on commercial matters and account planning and help ensure every customer in your portfolio realizes the full security value of eSentires Atlas AI MDR platform.

You will lead technical cadences including onboarding, platform optimization, security reviews, and customer enablement, translating Atlas AI capabilities, TRU threat intelligence, and SOC findings into clear, prioritized guidance.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary technical point of contact and trusted advisor to your assigned accounts, building personal relationships with technical buyers and champions and aligning multiple stakeholders within each customer organization.

• Lead technical check-ins, platform reviews, service performance discussions, and demonstrate the ability to own customer meetings.
• Proactively monitor account health and own resolving customer escalations, coordinating across SOC, Product, and Engineering
• Guide customers through onboarding and ongoing optimization of their security stack
• Demonstrate value across the full eSentire service portfolio
• Advocate for customers with the Product team

Required Requirements:

• 5-8 years in customer success, technical support, technical account management, or a related IT/security role
• Strong, independent confidence in cybersecurity and MDR/SOC operations
• Understanding of growing security domains, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
• Ability to understand the needs of SOC and IR teams and translate them into account strategy
• Strong presentation skills for mid-sized and cross-functional groups, and ability to align multiple stakeholders within a customer organization

Preferred Requirements:

• Familiarity with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, or ISO 27001
• Experience with CRM and customer success platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• One professional industry certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CompTIA)

Compensation Range

The expected base salary range for this role is $90,000-$120,000 USD, with an 85% base / 15% variable compensation structure. This range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
