About Technical and Access Services:
The Technical and Access Services division within Stanford University Libraries consists of five departments: Access Services, Acquisitions and Collection Services, Metadata Services, Preservation, and Remote Storage. With both patron-facing and back-office responsibilities, these departments function interdependently and collaborate to ensure access to library resources in a variety of formats and languages. Over 120 staff members acquire, describe, preserve, and provide access to all types of library materials. We work in Palo Alto, Redwood City, Livermore, and remotely across the country.
About the Position:
Reporting to the AUL for Technical and Access Services, the Technical and Access Services Project Manager will manage a wide range of complex projects and may manage more than one large project simultaneously.
Projects will involve multiple departments within Technical and Access Services and may include stakeholders from other library divisions. The Project Manager will collaborate with senior management and department leadership to select and define projects that support divisional priorities. Projects include the design and implementation of new or updated services as well as process improvements to enhance divisional impact and effectiveness.
In coordination with others on any given project, develops metrics and KPIs appropriate for tracking and reporting progress.
While most of the position is focused on project leadership, the Project Manager will also be a technical contributor in areas including assessment, business analysis, facilitation, and documentation.
Approved budgeted annual salary not to exceed: $183,098 per annum
