Technical Business Analyst

6-12 month Contract
Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00per hr
Our client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale business transformation initiative focused on lending operations, process controls, and system modernization. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, risk and compliance teams, and technology partners to document current-state processes, assess project impacts, validate controls, and ensure operational readiness throughout project releases. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, experience with process mapping and controls, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting business and technology initiatives
- Experience documenting business processes, workflows, and operational procedures
- Strong understanding of process controls, risk management, and compliance-related activities
- Experience gathering requirements and working with business stakeholders to assess project impacts
- Ability to facilitate meetings and coordinate efforts across multiple teams and departments
- Experience creating and maintaining documentation, traceability matrices, and project artifacts
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Technical aptitude and understanding of system integrations, data flows, and interfaces
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bonus / Preferred Skills:- Experience supporting Commercial Lending, Banking, Financial Services, or Loan Operations environments
- Knowledge of SOX controls, audit requirements, or regulatory compliance processes
- Experience with process mapping, control validation, and governance frameworks
- Experience working with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), including nCino or similar platforms
- Familiarity with business transformation, system implementation, or process improvement initiatives
- Experience partnering with Risk, Compliance, Audit, or Second Line of Defense teams
