Description

Overview

Evolver is seeking a Technical Delivery Coordinator. This individual plays a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of business-as-usual and project-related activities across Investment Operations Technology. This role combines investment operations domain knowledge with technical acumen to drive efficient issue resolution, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and maintain operational rigor. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Location: San Ramon or San Francisco, CA. Hybrid (3 days in office).

Responsibilities

Delivery Coordination & Issue Management

  • Serve as the first point of contact for techno-functional triage of Data issues, leveraging domain and system knowledge to diagnose, route, and coordinate resolution.
  • Own end-to-end issue lifecycle management, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLA commitments.
  • Proactively identify and escalate high-priority or time-sensitive items (e.g., same-day deliverables) to maintain delivery focus.

Stakeholder Communication & Alignment

  • Provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders and manage escalations effectively.
  • Act as a liaison between Investment Operations, Technology teams, and dependent systems to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Support strong partnership with Ops and Tech managers to drive coordinated outcomes.

Team Operations & Cadence Management

  • Lead daily end-of-day checkpoints/standups to review progress, surface blockers, and align on next-day priorities.
  • Lead sprint planning sessions and facilitate Scrum ceremonies across multiple data engineering workstreams.
  • Plan and facilitate monthly team meetings, including agenda development, logistics coordination, and documentation of key decisions and action items.

JIRA Governance & Backlog Management

  • Enforce JIRA standards, ensuring tickets are accurately created with required fields and aligned to defined workflows.
  • Manage and prioritize Data Engineering backlog, including ongoing grooming, task allocation, and support for ad hoc analysis tied to enterprise initiatives.
  • Drive improved visibility and throughput by reducing bottlenecks and ensuring work is appropriately sequenced.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights to leadership on a weekly basis.
  • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability of Data Engineering delivery operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience supporting project delivery within capital markets, preferably in a buy-side asset management environment.
  • 10 years of Oracle SQL with the ability to independently analyze data and support issue resolution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent of 5 years practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of investment operations workflows, including account structures, product hierarchies, and performance measurement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to perform under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience handling escalations.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

Actual salary will depend on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, market and work location. Evolver offers benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual salary for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area is $150,000 - $165,000.
