Work you'll do

We are looking for a Technical Engineer Contractor to build and deploy generative AI solutions for financial services clients. This role focuses on developing LLM-powered applications, scalable Python services, and data pipelines that meet enterprise standards for security, accuracy, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop LLM applications for intelligent assistants, document summarization, and workflow automation.
• Build RAG pipelines using enterprise data, embedding models, and vector databases.
• Create and evaluate prompts and AI workflows for accuracy, relevance, hallucinations, and latency.
• Build Python services and REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Pandas, SQL, and cloud services.
• Deploy and monitor applications using cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools.
• Apply privacy controls, guardrails, and governance practices aligned with client requirements.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Python and generative AI / LLM development experience.
• Experience with RAG, vector databases, REST APIs, and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex and models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure OpenAI.
• Experience deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Docker and CI/CD

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $65-$70 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
