About the Role
Join a forward-thinking agency as a Technical Implementation Specialist and become the subject matter expert in Microsoft Intune and Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM). You will lead efforts to modernize endpoint management, streamline mobile device deployment, and ensure robust security compliance for a dynamic public sector IT environment. Responsibilities
- Plan, configure, and implement Microsoft Intune and Enterprise MDM solutions.
- Manage device enrollment, policy configuration, and application deployment across diverse platforms.
- Integrate with Apple Business Manager and Android Enterprise, ensuring seamless device management.
- Set up compliance policies, conditional access, and device security baselines aligned with agency and federal standards.
- Troubleshoot device enrollment, synchronization, and compliance issues.
- Support migration efforts from legacy MDM platforms to Microsoft Intune.
- Document technical processes and deliver knowledge transfer to IT staff.
- Recommend improvements for endpoint security and device management workflows.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive modernization initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Management.
- Proven track record implementing MDM solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
- Skilled with Apple Business Manager, Apple DEP/ADE.
- Deep understanding of compliance policies, conditional access, and device security.
- Proficient in M365 administration and endpoint security.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience delivering knowledge transfer and technical training.
Preferred Skills
- Public sector or state government experience.
- Migration experience from Meraki or other MDM solutions.
- Familiarity with Windows Autopilot, endpoint provisioning, STIG, or CIS standards.
- Microsoft certifications in Intune, Azure, or Endpoint Management.
- Integration with ticketing/asset management systems.
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
