Job Title: Technical Instructional Designer
Location: Fully Remote (Accommodate time zone differences of +/- 2-3 hours)
Rate: $50.00 hourly
Duration: Through 12/31/2026
We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer to support the development and maintenance of innovative learning programs for operational and technical audiences, including data center professionals. This role is part of a collaborative learning organization focused on delivering engaging, scalable, and learner-centered training solutions that enable employee readiness and operational excellence. The successful candidate will partner with learning program managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and cross-functional stakeholders to design and develop impactful digital learning experiences using modern instructional design methodologies, multimedia technologies, and AI-enabled learning approaches.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Technical Communication, Learning Technologies, or a related field preferred.
- Advanced education or formal instructional design training is a plus.
- Equivalent professional experience will be considered.

- Strong experience in instructional design, including:
- Needs assessment
- Learner analysis

- Experience designing and delivering performance-based learning solutions for diverse audiences.
- Experience partnering with SMEs and cross-functional teams to develop training content.
- Experience developing technical learning programs and digital learning experiences.
- Previous data center training or technical operations training experience is highly desirable.
