    Description

    Technical Inventory Specialist needs 2+ years experience

    Technical Inventory Specialist requires:

    • Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP network methodologies and principles, such as network topologies, provisioning, troubleshooting and dissection preferred
      Previous project management experience is a plus
      Experience with optical/medical instruments installation is a plus
    • Ability to understand documentation of a technical nature and execute project tasks as prescribed with validation of all performed actions
    • Strong working knowledge of Windows environment and system tools, familiar with basic command line actions, navigation within networks
    • Ability to receive and provide direction to an onsite technician, escalate for assistance when needed, and provide post-activity documentation of all work performed with any outstanding items
    • Ability to coordinate activities in a dynamic project with variations in equipment placement, connection points, and remote access methods

    Technical Inventory Specialist duties:

    • Manage the installation, systems integration, testing, and maintenance of optical exam equipment at assigned locations
    • o Create and maintain detailed records of all installation activities
    • o Coordinate with onsite technicians to ensure installations are completed successfully, on-time, and adhere to all standards for placement and function
    • o Identify and ensure prompt resolution of any equipment install-related issues or deviations from plan; participate in tracking and resolution of open items
    • o Manage equipment inventory, including tracking, maintenance, and returns
