About the Role

As a Technical Investigator, you will be responsible for leading and conducting technical investigations, Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) operations, RF monitoring, and technical security assessments across critical data center environments. This position plays a key role in supporting the Global Risk & Investigations function by protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client facilities, personnel, and assets through proactive detection and mitigation of technical threats.

The ideal candidate is an experienced security professional with deep expertise in TSCM, RF technologies, technical investigations, and electronic security systems. This individual is highly analytical, capable of operating independently in high-risk environments, and comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders, law enforcement partners, and executive leadership.

What You''ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Conduct and oversee technical investigations, TSCM sweeps, RF surveys, and technical security assessments across global facilities and data centers.
• Manage and maintain RF monitoring systems, wireless intrusion detection platforms, and other technical countermeasure technologies.
• Investigate RF anomalies, wireless threats, TEMPEST vulnerabilities, and technical surveillance risks while preparing comprehensive investigative reports and recommendations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices related to technical investigations and technical security programs.
• Manage third-party vendors and contractors responsible for the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of approved technical countermeasures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Security, Legal, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Operations on investigative matters and risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide subject matter expertise, mentorship, training, and guidance on technical investigative methodologies and emerging threat trends.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You''ll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Valid U.S. Passport with the ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in government service, industrial security, law enforcement, military intelligence, technical security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience conducting technical investigations, TSCM sweeps, RF surveys, and technical security assessments.
• Advanced knowledge of radio frequency technologies, wireless communications protocols, electronic surveillance threats, and technical countermeasure equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• TSCM Fundamentals Certification from the Interagency Training Center (ITC).
• Industry certifications such as Network+, Security+, CASP+, PenTest+, or similar.
• PDTG Technical Security Specialist (TSS) Certification and/or Kestrel Operator Certification.
• Certified TEMPEST Engineer (CTE) credentials or previous experience as a Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA).
• Experience working within critical infrastructure, hyperscale data center, government, or national security environments.
• Experience with Bastille Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems or similar RF monitoring technologies.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of TSCM methodologies, technical surveillance threats, and RF detection techniques.
• Advanced understanding of wireless communication protocols including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, XBee, ANT, PTT Radio, and cellular technologies (3G, 4G, and 5G).
• Experience identifying and mitigating rogue access points, Bluetooth exploits, man-in-the-middle attacks, cellular threats, and wireless intrusions.
• Ability to operate technical test equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, time-domain reflectometers, network analyzers, and related instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, operating systems, and wired/wireless network architectures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, network topologies, architectural drawings, and mechanical/electrical building system plans.
• Excellent technical report writing, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Professional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential investigations.
• Ability to remain effective in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.

Compensation Information

Pay Range: $135,000 to $140,000 Annually

Actual compensation is determined by factors including experience, qualifications, work location, applicable laws, and business needs.
