Role: Lead Civil Engineer – Municipal Infrastructure 
Location: Fort Collins, CO
Salary: $145,000 – $175,000 + bonus
Duration: Permanent/Direct Hire

Ready to take your civil engineering career to the next level? We’re seeking an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to play a key role in shaping municipal infrastructure projects across Northern Colorado.

This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact technical leadership role where you’ll influence design quality, solve complex engineering challenges, and mentor the next generation of engineers—all while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the technical lead for municipal infrastructure projects involving water, wastewater, stormwater, roadways, and site development.

• Oversee design quality, constructability, and QA/QC reviews to ensure successful project delivery.

• Mentor and develop junior engineers while helping establish engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with project managers and clients to solve complex technical challenges and drive innovative solutions.

• Provide technical oversight during design and construction, including serving as Engineer of Record when assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years of civil engineering design experience, with a strong focus on municipal infrastructure.

• Active Colorado PE license required.

• Proven experience leading technical design reviews and mentoring engineering teams.

• Strong knowledge of municipal water, sewer, drainage, and roadway design.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with hydraulic/hydrologic modeling tools.

• Northern Colorado municipal project experience is a plus!
