Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Technical Lead to work in a hybrid on-site / remote capacity from our Fairfax, VA office and at various government facilities to support the development and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Solutions for a DoW customer. Everforth ECS is an expert technology firm focused on physical and cloud solutions exceeding our customer's technical needs. We specialize in migrating custom-developed, COTS, and GOTS applications into premium cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). We also offer a complete suite of managed service solutions for our customers, to include design, architecture, devops, systems administration, big data, security, and 24x7 cloud support services.

The Technical Lead will provide hands-on expertise in DoW network systems on a team supporting large DoW programs that operate and maintain multiple IL 4/5 cloud environments and DoW networks, and that take advantage of the many benefits offered by commercial cloud hosting and on-premise infrastructure (e.g., the ability to accelerate IT delivery, efficiency, and innovation). The Technical Lead will support client teams developing and/or enriching applications in a hybrid cloud environment, as well as providing maintenance and support in both classified and unclassified environments with the goal of providing stable, secure, flexible, efficient, and cost-effective frameworks. The Technical Lead will report directly to the Division Technical Lead, and will routinely engage with customers, engineers, and supporting mission partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architect, configure, and manage secure environments within a DoD network.
  • Monitor and manage security compliance, remediations, and patch management for an unclassified environment.
  • Lead a team of multidisciplinary engineers.
  • Install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software and hardware to comply with DoD requirements.
  • Implement and maintain security and user access controls (ICAM, Security Groups, Firewalls, Proxies).
  • Lead and architect risk mitigation activities such as Assessment and Authorization, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability and configuration management.
  • Evaluate customer issues and make educated decisions on technologies, tools, and the overall delivery strategy.
  • Thrive in a hybrid environment (split between on-site and remote, with occasional SCIF visits).
  • Successfully communicate to customers, contract program managers, industry partners, ECS senior management, and Government representatives.
  • Provide leadership and creativity in new business capture and proposal development.
  • Track industry trends and leverage them to drive innovation and solution excellence across various functional domains.
  • Collaborate with operations, technical, and business development managers, and ECS Centers of Excellence on key components of large solutions. ECS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law. ECS promotes affirmative action for minorities, women, disabled persons, and veterans.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Note: Salary is commensurate with skillset, qualifications, experience, and educational background.

Salary Range: $170,000 - $210,000

About Company

ECS was founded in 2001 by experienced IT professionals with a commitment to quality processes, people and performance. Led by our Chairman, Roy Kapani, and an experienced executive leadership team, ECS provides our customers with solutions and services that support their critical needs and further mission objectives. This commitment has paved the way for expansive growth, year over year.

ECS gained market share in 2011 in the Department of Defense and Federal spaces through both organic and acquisition growth. In May, ECS completed its first strategic acquisition with the purchase of OAK Management, Inc., a leading provider of marine environmental services, ship systems engineering, maritime consulting and platform acquisition management. The OAK acquisition kicked off ECS’ intention to add tactical acquisitions as a part of its long term strategy to supplement and expand upon organic growth and to build enterprise value. ECS closed out 2011 with the acquisition of Paradigm Technologies, Inc. The Paradigm transaction added approximately 200 employees to ECS’ existing 900+ employees. Paradigm also added new Defense clients for ECS, including the Missile Defense Agency, the Navy’s Program Executive Officer for Integrated Warfare Systems, the United States Marine Corps, and the U.S. Marshals Service.

In 2012, ECS completed the acquisition of iLuMinA Solutions, Inc. iLuMinA brings large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation and infrastructure design and development to ECS’ expanding capabilities.

ECS will continue to invest in corporate infrastructure and quality processes as we grow and enhance our ability to offer professional excellence to both our customers and our employees.
