Role Overview:
This position will lead, develop, and land key business programs and will support our clients in successful delivery of their technology initiatives. As part of a high performing group, this position will achieve significant impact to the business with high visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Responsibilities
· Partner with clients to define project scope, objectives and approach to support business objectives in an efficient yet consensus-building fashion
· Formulating, organizing and monitoring inter-connected projects
· Deciding on suitable strategies and objectives to drive efficiencies across inter-connected projects/teams and meet tight timelines
· Coordinating cross-project activities across multiple teams
· Provide a high degree of planning, technical leadership and vendor management to clients and delivery team to ensure successful execution of assigned projects
· Accountability for the successful management and delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects from discovery and design through delivery and completion meeting agreed upon schedule, budget and scope
· Schedule and facilitate effective meetings; produce agendas, meeting materials, and prepare the resulting conclusions and action items in a professional manner
· Adherence to both BCI and client guidelines, standards and processes
· Develop and maintain strong relationship with clients, BCI management and cross-functional teams
Delivery Responsibilities
· Develop estimates, scope-of-work documents, requirements, risk assessments, specifications, and budgets.
· Work directly with clients, vendors and internal resources to develop integrated project schedules and maintain this schedule throughout the project and/or application release cycles
· Manage the execution of contracts required to deliver projects in a timely fashion
· Ensure all project deliverables including contracts have been completed, deliverables are on schedule, and within specification and budget for a given project
· Authors and maintains project schedule, project briefs, Statements of Work, change control procedures and cost estimates with input from team members, as needed
· Leads risk identification and risk mitigation strategy planning
· Adjusts schedule as necessary and facilitates corrective actions to mitigate slippage
· Closely monitor changes in scope and schedule and prevent unapproved requirement modifications or schedule changes
· Effectively communicate issues and opportunities to clients, team members and internal management in a timely manner.
· Actively participate throughout a project's quality assurance cycle to ensure that the final product meets the expectations of the original project requirements
· Complete updates to CMS or Application Administration tools required to meet project requirements
· Management and oversight of outside partners and vendors
· Ongoing management of project collaboration sites
· Other duties as assigned by BCI Project Manager for this SOW
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years managing interactive or application development projects
· Consulting experience with demonstrated success across matrixed client and vendor teams
· Strong project leadership skills: defining scope, cost, schedule, and managing delivery to contract
· Proven ability to manage client and vendor relationships
· Solid understanding of web and interactive development processes across UX, design, development, QA, and analytics
· Skilled in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
· Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills
· Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
· Comfortable executing hands-on tasks, including basic site updates via admin tools
· Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Jira, and Confluence
· Experience with UAT and issue resolution as SME
· Bachelor's degree required; people management experience a plus
