Summary:
We’re hiring a Technical Product Manager to support our modernized Insurance Platform while helping maintain stability for existing customers. This role will be focused primarily on supporting live systems, resolving issues, and ensuring reliability, while also contributing to onboarding new products and improving platform capabilities.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Platform Ownership & Delivery
  • Own defined components of the Insurance Platform (e.g., APIs, batch, connectivity, or support tooling) as products
  • Define and prioritize backlog in alignment with platform goals, operational needs, and customer impact
  • Partner with engineering to deliver scalable, high-quality platform capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to enhance platform capabilities through data-driven insights and emerging technologies (e.g., intelligent automation, anomaly detection)
  • Support, Stability & Legacy Continuity
  • Own triage, prioritization, and resolution of platform-related production issues
  • Serve as the primary coordinator across Product, Engineering, and Support teams for issue management
  • Ensure clear communication of incidents, impacts, and resolutions to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Identify recurring issues and drive root cause fixes to improve platform stability
  • Leverage data patterns and automation opportunities to proactively detect, prevent, or reduce production incidents
  • Maintain operational readiness, including monitoring, escalation, and support processes
  • Support legacy platform needs while ensuring stability during modernization efforts
  • Platform Expansion & Onboarding
  • Partner with product teams and customers to support integration and adoption
  • Drive improvements in onboarding speed, documentation, and overall developer experience
  • Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding and reduce integration effort through automation and intelligent tooling
  • Deliver incremental enhancements to platform capabilities (APIs, batch, connectivity, tooling)
  • Contribute to migration efforts from legacy to modern platform solutions
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the connector across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and Customer teams
  • Align stakeholders on priorities and tradeoffs between operational stability and innovation
  • Partner with engineering to explore and implement enhancements that improve efficiency, scalability, and platform usability
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Use operational and product data to prioritize work and guide decision-making
  • Track and improve key metrics such as incident trends, resolution time, onboarding speed, and platform adoption
  • Identify patterns in platform usage, support issues, and customer behavior to inform prioritization and continuous improvement
  • Governance & Standards
  • Ensure all platform capabilities align with data standards, API standards, and governance processes
  • Enforce consistency, scalability, and reuse across platform solutions
  • Partner with governance teams to maintain a high-quality, well-managed platform
 
Qualifications Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, or a related role
  • Experience working with APIs, integrations, or data-driven platforms
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and technical teams
  • Experience managing production issues or supporting live technology products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
 
Qualifications Preferred:
  • Experience in insurance, fintech, or data/analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with API-based architectures (REST, authentication methods, etc.)
  • Experience in platform modernization or legacy system migration initiatives
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments
  • Experience with AI-enabled solutions or use of AI to improve platform capabilities, operations, or customer experience (e.g., automation, anomaly detection, intelligent workflows)
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $63.00- $64.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
