ABOUT THE JOB

As a Technical Product Manager, you will play a central role in defining, developing, and delivering RayNeo’s next generation of augmented reality glasses and AI-powered wearable products.

You will work at the intersection of engineering, product design, software development, hardware development, and business strategy, translating technical capabilities and market requirements into practical product solutions.

Working closely with cross-functional teams across North America and China, you will oversee product development initiatives from initial concept and technical specifications through development, testing, launch, and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Define product vision, roadmaps, technical requirements, and development priorities for AR and AI-powered wearable products.
* Translate business objectives and customer needs into detailed product specifications and technical documentation.
* Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, designers, and research teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
* Coordinate product development activities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across international teams.
* Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI integration, optical systems, display technologies, sensors, and wearable computing.
* Work with engineering and quality assurance teams to oversee product testing, validation, performance, and reliability.
* Identify technical challenges, assess product risks, and coordinate solutions with relevant stakeholders.
* Monitor market trends, competitor products, and consumer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation.
* Support product launches by coordinating technical documentation, release readiness, and cross-functional execution.
* Track product performance and recommend improvements based on user feedback and product analytics.

REQUIREMENTS

* 7+ years of experience in technical product management, product development, or technology program management.
* Demonstrated experience managing complex hardware and software product development projects.
* Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, technical specifications, and product roadmaps.
* Experience collaborating with engineering, design, research, and cross-functional teams.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project leadership skills.

BONUS POINTS

* Experience in augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), or wearable technology.
* Background in consumer electronics, smart glasses, mobile devices, or connected hardware products.
* Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and intelligent wearable systems.
* Understanding of optical engineering, micro-display technologies, sensors, and embedded systems.
* Experience with Agile, Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and product lifecycle management tools.
* Familiarity with hardware-software integration, prototyping, product testing, and quality assurance.
* Experience managing international product development teams and manufacturing partners.
* Knowledge of product analytics, user research, market validation, and competitive product analysis.
* Experience coordinating engineering teams across North America and Asia.
* Mandarin language proficiency or experience working with Chinese technology and engineering teams.
