About the Role

Step into a dynamic, high-impact role as a Buyer/Procurement Analyst on Lockheed Martin's Central Procurement Delivery Management (Expediting) Team. You'll play a critical part in managing post-award purchase orders and expediting hardware deliveries to ensure our internal build schedules stay on track. Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where your communication and organizational skills will help drive the success of advanced aerospace and defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee expedite queues and supplier hardware deliveries, ensuring on-time fulfillment for Lockheed Martin production requirements
• Resolve supplier questions, issues, and complaints regarding purchase orders, utilizing advanced delivery schedule management systems
• Collaborate daily with suppliers, buyers, program representatives, and receiving teams to resolve order discrepancies and challenges
• Maintain and update tracking databases with current order statuses and prepare critical item status reports for management presentations
• Build and nurture strong relationships with teammates, buyers, management, supplier contacts, and program customers
• Present clear, concise updates to Expediting Management and adapt to rapidly shifting priorities with prompt solutions

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience/combined education) in a related discipline
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to present in group settings and provide training
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet critical deadlines
• Strong teamwork and relationship-building abilities

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in supply chain or expediting roles
• Customer service background
• Exposure to strategy or project implementation
• Logistics experience
• SAP MRP & Procurement Systems proficiency
