Technical Program Manager I – Display Silicon & Hardware Programs 

Location: Onsite – Redmond, WA or Sunnyvale, CA
Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours per week
Contract Duration: 12 months with strong potential for extension or conversion
Pay Rate:$60–$69/hour (W2, Paid Weekly)

Job Overview 

Join Reality Labs as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) supporting next-generation uLED Display Silicon programs. In this role, you'll lead cross-functional program execution from early silicon development through high-volume manufacturing, partnering with engineering, sourcing, packaging, test teams, and external semiconductor vendors to drive milestones, manage dependencies, and ensure seamless collaboration. You'll play a critical role in delivering the innovative display technologies powering future AR and smart glasses products. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across display silicon, uLED, packaging, test engineering, and sourcing teams.
  • Lead recurring program meetings, milestone reviews, and status updates with both internal stakeholders and external vendor partners.
  • Build and maintain integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment between deliverables and vendor commitments.
  • Track project milestones, action items, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple engineering teams.
  • Identify schedule risks, technical challenges, and execution gaps early, driving mitigation plans with clear ownership.
  • Maintain program dashboards, status trackers, and leadership reports for engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate communication between and foundry/silicon vendors to ensure timely execution and issue resolution.
  • Document key decisions, communicate updates, and ensure all impacted teams remain aligned throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Support leadership with concise program summaries, milestone reporting, and risk assessments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of Technical Program Management or equivalent project management experience in hardware or semiconductor development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related engineering field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple engineering disciplines such as silicon, hardware, test, packaging, or manufacturing.
  • Experience translating high-level project goals into detailed schedules with owners, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Experience working with external vendors, foundries, contract manufacturers, or semiconductor partners.
  • Familiarity with hardware product development phases, including prototype, qualification, and mass production.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting program updates to technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting semiconductor or silicon development programs involving foundries or OSAT partners.
  • Familiarity with display silicon, uLED, or electro-optical technologies.
  • Experience managing programs involving multiple external vendors.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools such as Jira or Smartsheet.
  • Experience preparing executive-level program updates, milestone reports, and risk summaries.
  • Experience supporting consumer hardware products from prototype through mass production.
