Job Description:
JCDS seeks an experienced Program Manager (PgM) to lead delivery of IT services to a government client. The PgM oversees and manages the overarching scope, schedule, and budget of the Technical Program Manager (PgM) - NDi seeks an experienced Program Manager (PgM) to lead delivery of IT services to a government client. The PGM oversees both IT Operations and a portfolio of Projects to ensure we are helping the client achieve their business goals. The PGM oversees and manages the overarching scope, schedule, and budget of the program. The scope of this program includes about 20 projects, initiatives, and enhancements at any given time; IT operations of infrastructure; and engineering of new IT capabilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a Project Governance Structure that includes project and task prioritization, resource management, information sharing & management, and communications facilitation.
  • Work with the client to understand their strategic direction and the goals they'd like to achieve. Program Managers will then monitor the progress of several projects within their program to make sure they follow this direction and exceed these goals.
  • Build a budget for the program and ensure all projects stay within this budget. Understands and monitors program budget and cost.
  • Provide Management reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Provide roll-up reports of (health, milestones, deliverables, financials, risks).
  • Create evaluation methods to properly review and assess the strengths of the program and to determine any areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with HR, Contracts, Finance, and account manager to discuss personnel, contract details and modifications, budget, new requirements within or out of program scope, tactics for organic growth, concerns/complaints from customer
  • Ensures standards, processes, and procedures are in place for project managers and their program resources to leverage for successful delivery.
  • Coordinate activities between multiple projects to ensure delivery, assisting PMs with mitigating risks and issues
  • Schedule, Facilitate, and Provide quarterly program management report presentations to leadership (health, milestones, deliverables, financials, risks)
  • Provide annual performance reviews of managers on your program
  • Facilitate information sharing, situational awareness, and cooperation among PMs
  • Lead hiring of critical roles to support the program
  • Lead personnel changes (requirement, requisitions, terminations)
  • Participates with business development and proposal development as required
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required - Advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of Government Contracting (GOVCON) experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. Program Management Professional (PGMP) preferred.
  • Must be eligible to be cleared at the public trust level
  • High-level management and leadership skills
  • Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively
  • Proficient with Microsoft Productivity Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Risk management
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience in an Agile development environment

Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance. U.S. Citizen.

Compensation: $165,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
