The role requires a strong combination of project/program management, product management, technical understanding, and stakeholder engagement to drive delivery from requirements through implementation. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and digital/product initiatives. Partner with business, product, engineering, architecture, and operations teams to define requirements, priorities, and delivery roadmaps. Own and manage product backlog, user stories, priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues. Translate business needs into clear technical and functional requirements. Drive Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, release planning, status reporting, and executive updates. Coordinate across multiple development and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery. Track project scope, schedule, resources, risks, and overall delivery health. Work closely with engineering teams on APIs, integrations, data flows, cloud-based solutions, and enterprise applications. Ensure solutions meet banking requirements related to security, risk, compliance, and data governance. Manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear communication on progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions. Required Skills 8+ years of experience in Technology Project Management, Product Management, or Program Management. Strong experience working with banking, capital markets, payments, wealth management, or broader financial-services technology. Experience managing large-scale technology/product implementations. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Good understanding of APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, databases, and system integrations. Strong requirements gathering, backlog management, and prioritization skills. Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills. Ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, and competing priorities. Preferred Qualifications PMP, CSM/SAFe, CSPO/PSPO, or similar certification. Experience working in highly regulated financial-services environments. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Understanding of data, analytics, cybersecurity, and regulatory/compliance considerations within banking. Ideal Candidate A hands-on leader who can operate effectively between business/product stakeholders and technology teams, take ownership of delivery, and drive complex financial-services initiatives from concept through production. Writing approach: I positioned this as a hybrid Technical Project Manager + Product Manager role rather than a traditional PM, with stronger emphasis on banking-domain delivery, product ownership, technology integration, and stakeholder management.
