Introduction

Join our dynamic team as a Wireless Technical Program Manager, where you will lead innovative programs through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to develop cutting-edge modules and subsystems for consumer products. Collaborate with internal and external partners to establish requirements, manage schedules, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. We are looking for natural motivators and relationship builders dedicated to delivering seamless execution in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with component and module qualification, validation, and characterization processes
  • 3 years of experience as an engineering manager or Technical Program Manager, handling hardware or firmware projects from concept to mass production
  • 3 years of experience with wireless hardware module projects
  • In-depth knowledge of the product development process for consumer wireless hardware, including firmware integration
  • Experience in communicating and operating across multiple teams and projects autonomously

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in wireless design and/or implementation, in hardware and/or firmware
  • Familiarity with the latest wireless technologies and trends
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Partner with the AR wireless engineering team to define, design, and execute hardware projects
  • Develop and manage wireless development schedules, keeping stakeholders informed and proactively identifying/addressing potential setbacks
  • Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables such as architecture definitions, build goals, and wireless requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of firmware releases for factory use during builds
  • Track and report engineering issues encountered during the build process, providing regular status updates to leadership
