Technical Recruiter (IT / Full-Cycle Recruiting) – Boston, MA (Hybrid, 6-Month Contract)

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – Onsite at 1 Ashburton Place + Remote Flexibility)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)

About the Role

Sigma Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support hiring initiatives for the Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS) in Boston, MA.

This role is ideal for a recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience in IT/technical roles, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong talent pipelines. You will partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to identify, engage, and hire top technology talent across a variety of IT disciplines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical roles (contract & full-time positions)
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, skills, and candidate profiles
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies using:
    • LinkedIn Recruiter
    • Job boards (Indeed, etc.)
    • Professional networks & events
  • Source and engage passive candidates for IT roles such as:
    • Software Developers
    • IT Infrastructure Specialists
    • Cybersecurity Professionals
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews
  • Present qualified candidates and provide hiring recommendations
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and feedback collection
  • Maintain accurate data in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Support employer branding through career fairs and networking events
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with hiring policies
  • Track recruitment metrics, pipeline activity, and hiring progress

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (technical recruiting preferred)
  • Experience sourcing for IT/technology roles
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, job boards)
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for public sector or government organizations
  • Familiarity with software development, infrastructure, or cybersecurity roles
  • Experience attending or representing companies at career fairs or recruiting events
