LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Troy, MI in their search for an experienced Technical Recruiter. This is a hybrid, contract-to-hire opportunity for a recruiter who has experience managing full-cycle recruitment across a broad range of IT and technical roles.

The ideal candidate is comfortable partnering with hiring managers, understanding highly technical skill sets, and developing effective sourcing strategies to identify qualified IT talent.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of IT and technical positions

• Recruit across areas such as software development, infrastructure, cloud, data, cybersecurity, ERP, business systems, project management, and technical support

• Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, team needs, and ideal candidate profiles

• Source and engage qualified candidates through multiple recruiting channels

• Conduct candidate screenings and assess experience against position requirements

• Manage candidate pipelines and provide timely updates throughout the hiring process

• Coordinate interviews and support candidates through the recruitment process

• Develop proactive sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill technical positions

• Maintain accurate recruiting and candidate information within applicable systems

• Help create a positive and professional candidate experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience recruiting for IT and technical positions

• Demonstrated experience recruiting across multiple technical disciplines

• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills

• Ability to understand technical job requirements and translate them into effective recruiting strategies

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously

• Experience recruiting within automotive, engineering, manufacturing IT, or plant technology environments is helpful, but not required
