Title: Technical Risk Analyst
Location: Merrifield, VA

Compensation:
Pay Range;$53.00-$63.00 Per Hr
Description
This position involves supporting the Security Second Line of Defense Issue Management function.
The role is based in a hybrid setting, with options in Vienna, VA, Winchester, VA, Pensacola, FL, or remote.
It is a contract role requiring oversight of security issues, quality assurance, and governance.
Candidates should be familiar with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Perform independent review and challenge of security issues for alignment with management requirements.
Evaluate issue descriptions for comprehensive risk articulation.
Provide governance guidance regarding control applicability.
Identify emerging risks and systemic control weaknesses.
Validate issue closure packages and remediation evidence.
Qualifications
Experience in the financial services industry focusing on regulatory frameworks and security assessments.
Knowledge of Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance programs.
Understanding of the Three Lines Model and Security Second Line of Defense responsibilities.
Experience in performing independent challenge and oversight functions.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
