The person in this role will create timely and accurate quotes for customers, help develop business relationships with resellers and distribution customers, expand the customer base, and respond to customer needs and inquiries. This role requires the ability to offer world class technical expertise and exceptional customer service at a fast pace.Reporting Relationship: The Technical Sales Coordinator reports to Sales Manager Scott MisslingResponsibilities/Accountabilities:Help Support and grow business relationship with key resellers for the purpose of exceeding revenue and gross margin targets.Assess product and service-related issues and act as a liaison between customers and HMC Sales; escalate as necessaryProvide suggestions to customers for a project's bill of materials based on specifications provided by customer and provide necessary pricing recommendationsGenerate quotes and perform follow-up functions for distribution salesEffectively use ERP and CRM tools to manage account activity and communications with other HMC sales personnelMaintain excellent records, manage expense reports, and submit expense reports monthlyOther duties as assignedRequirements:Skills/KnowledgeExcellent written, verbal and presentation skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Word and PowerPointCRM software proficiency requiredSome knowledge of single and three phase UPS technology, and familiarity with complementary and competitive products preferredPersonal AttributesDemonstrates honesty and integrity in work and relationshipsDemonstrates servant leadership principles with internal and external customersDemonstrates innovation/creativity in workPossesses strong work ethic and takes ownership of both company and client goals/objectivesFocused on understanding and exceeding customer expectationsEnjoys collaboration and teamwork for the mutual success of the company and its employeesEducation and Experience:4 year college or university degree, or related work experience3+ years experience in a technical support and/or service environmentTravel expectations: Travel as necessary
