Technical Services Manager (On-site) Cincinnati, OH (Metropolitan Area)

We seek a highly experiencedTechnical Services Managerto lead a skilled technical team responsible for managing infrastructure operations, ensuring system reliability, and supporting business solutions and IT-enabled processes. It is a contract-to-hire position. This is an On-site position located in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. 

 

Responsibilities

. Oversee and manage a team of four experienced technical operators specializing in database management, virtualization, and network management.

. Triage, plan, and assign incoming work from various sources, including patching, user requests, and management information requests.

. Drive assigned work to completion by resolving blockers, managing priorities, and ensuring accountability for committed delivery schedules.

. Maintain and optimize systems, hardware, software, and service components that support business operations.

. Manage both on-premises and co-located data center resources and user device management.

. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in a highly regulated environment.

. Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for infrastructure operations, ensuring system performance and security.

. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess, implement, and maintain IT solutions that align with business objectives.

 

Qualifications

. 10-15 yearsof hands-on experience in infrastructure operations within a mid-sized organization, preferably in a highly regulated environment.

. 5+ yearsof experience managing a technical team.

. Strong expertise in managing on-premises and co-located data center resources.

. Experience withAzure resource managementis highly preferred.

. Proficiency in user device management and IT service delivery.

. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

. Ability to drive projects to completion while managing priorities and removing obstacles for the team.
