We are seeking a highly motivated individual with proven presentation skills and demonstrated effective sales methods. As a Technical Support Sales Engineer, you will be supporting the National Sales Managers" efforts through technical training, developing technical documentation and assisting with customer needs.

Requirements:

- Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and the sales team by providing product expertise, troubleshooting support, and application guidance for emergency lighting systems and controls.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, product training, sales support materials, and documentation, including specifications, manuals, submittals, and technical briefs.
- Collaborate with National Sales Managers, customers, and engineers to identify project requirements, recommend technical solutions, and ensure products meet system specifications.
- Assist with customer demonstrations, turnkey projects, technical consultations, and formal sales proposals while supporting business development initiatives.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the company's product portfolio, emergency lighting technologies, and industry trends to recommend effective, application-specific solutions.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive technical support, training, and periodic travel for onsite meetings, consultations, and industry events.

Qualifications:

- Must have 3+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, applications engineering, or technical support
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent
- Must have strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot products, interpret customer requirements, and recommend effective technical solutions.
- Must have excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to train customers, support sales teams, and deliver technical presentations.
- Must have the ability to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, product demonstrations, training, trade shows, and sales support activities.
