Job Description

Duration: 6 months
Location: Bellevue, WA and Onsite 5 days/week
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in software technical writing.
  • Experience with structured documentation formats, including Markdown or HTML.
  • Plan, write, edit, and maintain user-facing documentation for AWS Boost, including task-based user guides, onboarding materials, FAQs, and release notes.
  • Demonstrated technical writing proficiency through end-user guides or API documentation samples.
  • Experience authoring in structured documentation tools and formats (e.g., Markdown, HTML, wikis, docs-as-code, or a component content management system).
  • Strong portfolio or writing samples demonstrating end-user guides and/or API/developer documentation.
Responsibilities
  • Develop user guides, onboarding materials, frequently asked questions (FAQs), and release notes for AWS Boost.
  • Author API references, developer guides, and documentation for forms, flows, and variable sets.
  • Translate complex data center workflows into step-by-step technical instructions.
  • Establish documentation standards, templates, style guidelines, and information architecture.
  • Validate technical accuracy through product reviews and procedural testing.
  • Maintain release-aligned documentation through feature launches, regional deployments, stakeholder feedback, and localization workflows.
