Technical Writer/Publications Manager

Job Description: Provide a DHA-FE Publications Manager to serve as the DHA-FE expert manager on all current Publications Systems Branch (PSB) requirements including using the task management system (ETMS2), templates/formats, supporting document requirements, coordination process, etc. for DHA FAC publications including DHA-Administrative Instructions (DHA-AIs), DHA Procedural Instructions (DHA-PIs), DHA Technical Manuals (DHA-TMs), DHA Procedural Manuals (DHA-PMs), and DHA Interim Procedures Memorandums (DHA IPMs).Develop and maintain the DHA-FAC Publications Library as a repository for all DHA-FAC publications and policy documents to include DHA-AI/PI/PM/TMs, Facilities Information, Instruction, & Guidance (FIIG) Bulletins, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Policy Memos, and Guides.Ensure publications are developed based on DHA Director, Deputy and Division Chief PrioritiesTrack all DHA-FAC publications from work group completion through posting to the Publications Library and coordinate both formal and informal distribution to relevant stakeholders.Ensure publication packages have all required supporting documents, coordinate needed publications actions (reviews, comment adjudication, updates) with SMEs and Government leads, and ensure deadlines are met.Manage and document DHA-FAC Publications Library capabilities. Coordinate changes to capabilities, functionality, access, and features with platform manager and senior leaders.
