The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University''s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
This position will be in support of a BBRF Young Investigator award and an NIMH K23 award using electronic health record (EHR) data from the Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) to identify phenotypes among individuals with schizophrenia and bipolar spectrum disorders, and personalized treatments for individuals with those phenotypic characteristics. At a minimum, the position will involve data management including data harmonization (formatting and cleaning datasets to be used in data analytics programs such as R, SAS or python), construction of derived variables specifically for these projects, and summary statistics to present to the PI for review. Advanced statistical analyses associated with the projects' aims can also be undertaken with PI supervision.
