Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Technician for a Contract with a client in Caledonia, MI. The ideal candidate will support critical data center operations by troubleshooting hardware, network, and Linux system issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

Rate Range: $22/Hour to $23/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technician Responsibilities include:

• Monitor and maintain data center operations to ensure optimal system availability, reliability, and performance.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair server, hardware, and network-related issues in a timely manner.

• Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures and implement corrective actions.

• Assemble, install, and maintain data center equipment, tools, and inventory while adhering to operational standards.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, scripts, and procedures to support infrastructure management and updates.

• Provide technical support to internal teams and participate in on-call rotations to respond to critical equipment failures and emergencies.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.

• 4-6 years of experience supporting data center operations, hardware maintenance, and infrastructure troubleshooting.

• Strong experience with computer hardware assembly, diagnostics, repair, and Linux operating system administration.

• Working knowledge of networking concepts, data center environments, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
