Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Technician for a Contract with a client in Afton, TX. The ideal candidate will support reliable data center operations by resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining equipment, and providing technical support to internal teams.

Rate Range: $22/Hour to $23/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technician Responsibilities include:

• Maintain data center operations to ensure high system availability, reliability, and performance.

• Diagnose, troubleshooting, repair server, hardware, and network-related issues.

• Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures and implement corrective actions.

• Assemble, install, and maintain data center equipment, tools, and testing devices.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, inventory records, and automation scripts.

• Provide technical support and training to internal teams while supporting on-call and operational requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• 4-6 years of experience in data center operations, hardware support, or infrastructure maintenance.

• Strong experience with computer hardware troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and Linux operating systems.

• Experience with data center environments, networking concepts, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash preferred.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
