Whether your background is focused on Mechanical Fabrication & Assembly, Electrical Power Systems, or a hybrid combination of both, you will be placed into a Junior or Senior role tailored to your technical strengths.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Production Manager and engineering team to build systems, improve fabrication/assembly processes, and optimize overall system efficiency.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical or electrical malfunctions and breakdowns, collaborating with engineers to develop effective solutions.
Quality Assurance: Inspect components and finished products for defects to ensure all Nanogrid units meet stringent quality and performance standards.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized work environment and strictly adhere to all company and industry safety regulations and procedures.
Senior-Level Leadership: Senior technicians will lead complex system builds, adjust and optimize machinery/equipment settings, and train/mentor junior co-workers on the safe and efficient use of tools, machinery, welding equipment, and testing instruments.
Mechanical Implementation & Assembly: Assist with mechanical implementation, trailer fabrication, structural welding, mechanical assembly, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
Precision Metalworking & Woodworking: Utilize a variety of metalworking tools (welders, grinders, cutting tools, drills, bending and forming equipment) and woodworking equipment to cut, shape, and assemble durable components with precision.
Expert Finishing: Apply expertise in finishing techniques, such as painting and protective surface treatments, for durable and aesthetically pleasing final products.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute practical ideas for improving product design, structural build methods, and finishing techniques.
3-Phase AC & DC System Integration: Lead or assist with the wiring and integration of low-voltage DC circuits (12V/24V/48V), high-power 3-phase AC, and 120/240V single-phase AC electrical systems (off-grid and grid-connected).
Nanogrid Component Assembly: Assemble and wire core renewable energy components, including solar panels, battery storage systems, and hydrogen systems.
Power Conversion Electronics: Install, wire, and configure power electronics, specifically DC-to-AC inverters and power conversion modules.

Senior Technician Level: 5 to 10+ years of proven experience in metal fabrication/finishing (such as RV, trailer, or modular manufacturing) and/or industrial electrical assembly (including 3-phase off-grid/grid-connected systems) in a manufacturing setting.
Track-Specific Proficiency: Strong foundational capability in either mechanical fabrication/assembly or electrical power systems.
Drawings & Schematics: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, or electrical schematics.
Tool Proficiency: Safe and effective use of either trade-specific fabrication tools (welders, power tools) or electrical diagnostic instruments.
Craftsmanship & Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills, keen attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality.
