Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

• By working closely with the installation manager, field supervisors, warehouse manager, and installation apprentices, you will complete jobs on time and under budget, helping achieve the company’s financial goals.
• Know how to establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable.
• Ensure jobs are properly staged; sign off on the job quality checklist.
• Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure the overall success of the business.
• Adhere to the company’s plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
• Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and technical vendor training.
• Be accurate and timely with invoices, forms, inventory replenishment, and timecards.
• Join the Saturday on-call rotation (perform an install or run callbacks every 4-5 weeks).

What you Bring

• 2+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC installation (required). 
• HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience. 
• EPA Universal Certification (required). 
• Clean, safe driving record.
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
• Strong desire to be a better installer tomorrow than you are today.
• Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team.
• Ability to work in small spaces, extreme heat, and generally unfavorable conditions.
• Frequently climb ladders and perform bending, pulling, and reaching movements.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ventilation components. -
•  Lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork and related fittings to specification. 
• Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of newly installed equipment. 
• Ensure installations meet local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards. 
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles. 
• Work closely with Install Leads, Supervisors, and other team members to ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. 
• Communicate effectively with homeowners or building occupants regarding system operation and maintenance. 
•  Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.
