REQUIREMENTS: Technician III
- Our client requires that candidates must have ability to obtain a DoD Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL), for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- 2-year technical degree or a Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
- Required skills include proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
- Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, test with near zero defects.
- Must be able to demonstrate high degree of mechanical aptitude and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements.
- Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (ie. Scopes, meters, etc) and generate test report data.
- Must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Technician III
- Our client is seeking an experienced technician to work in its Pilot & Pre-Production Lines performing electro-mechanical assembly of electronic products and support equipment.
- Must be able to understand and work from engineering drawings and sketches and follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Must be able and willing to work additional hours when required, including weekends as needed.
- Perform repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies on ordnance products.
- Perform duties assisting team members in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, troubleshooting and transitioning products into production.
- 2-year technical degree and 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
- Ability to communicate feedback to the team to support design, fabrication and test improvements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve assembly issues.
- Cirris and/or Automated Test Equipment operator experience
- Troubleshooting of electronic and electro-mechanical systems
- Trained and proficient in manufacturing & quality requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements
- Basic understanding of GD&T
