Technician

Job Summary:As a Technician at Jiffy Lube- Roselle- Store #235, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment. This is a Full Time, hourly position that reports to the Store Manager. Located in Roselle, Illinois, this individual contributor role offers a competitive compensation of $14.5 per hour, paid biweekly.Compensation & Benefits:- Hourly rate of $14.5 per hour- Biweekly pay- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance- 401(k) retirement plan with company match- Paid time off and holiday payResponsibilities:- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including but not limited to oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs.- Diagnose and repair engine, brake, and electrical systems as needed.- Complete services in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high-quality standards.- Communicate with customers to explain services and recommended maintenance based on manufacturer guidelines.- Accurately document services performed and maintain accurate records of parts and inventory.- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies and procedures.Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Previous experience as an automotive technician or related field preferred.- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.- ASE certification or willingness to obtain preferred.- Must have own tools.- Strong customer service and communication skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy.- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.EEOC statement:Jiffy Lube is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment.
