Get to Know the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Retail IT Deployment Specialist to lead and facilitate hardware setups, system installations, and operational tech support across our store network. In this role, you will leverage hands-on expertise in MDM, networking hardware, and endpoint troubleshooting to power new store openings and maintain high-performing retail systems. Serving as a crucial liaison between store operations, external logistics vendors, and cross-functional technology teams, you will oversee ticket queues and vendor delivery to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime across all locations.
What You'll Do:
- Facilitate IT hardware deployments across stores, ensuring smooth setup, installation, and functioning of IT systems
- Communicate and coordinate with vendors for timely and accurate delivery and installation of IT assets.
- Provide incident management support monitoring and managing ticket queues related to IT hardware repairs, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams such as Networking, IT Security, Operations, Help Desk, and POS Support to ensure integrated IT support for retail stores.
- Actively participate in new store opening and deployment projects, ensuring all IT requirements are met promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor and address IT hardware-related queries, providing timely solutions to the retail teams.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field or a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT hardware deployment and support, preferably in a retail environment. Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in IT applications such as AirWatch MDM, JIRA, Cisco Meraki, Active Directory, iOS/Mobile Support, Active Directory, Windows Server, and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with endpoint management basics and advanced troubleshooting methodologies.
- Understanding of networking technologies(APs, Routers, Switches) and server management
- Solid understanding of logistics, inventory management, and hardware shipment & receiving. (FedEx, UPS, USPS).
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Demonstrated problem solving experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Emphasis on effective communication and collaboration with external vendors and cross-functional teams.
