The Technology Consultant is a client-facing architect and advisor who owns the design and delivery of end-to-end solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. This role bridges stakeholder needs and technical execution, leading discovery, shaping architecture decisions, and ensuring delivery aligns with strategic intent.

Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and design end-to-end solution architectures that translate business needs into scalable systems, owning delivery outcomes that improve performance and reduce risk while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and QA teams
- Define architecture strategies and blueprints that accelerate delivery and ensure alignment with enterprise standards, partnering with leadership and technical teams to drive consistent, value-focused solutions
- Guide solution implementation from design through deployment, ensuring quality, reliability, and alignment with business goals while working cross-functionally with DevOps, BA, and delivery teams
- Own architecture decisions across business, application, data, and integration layers, including technology selection, scalability, and performance strategies
- Partner with clients to shape technology strategy, modernization roadmaps, and cloud adoption, translating complex challenges into actionable architectural solutions
- Lead governance through architecture reviews, design standards, and best practices, ensuring consistency and quality across multiple delivery streams
- Support delivery as an architect-on-delivery, ensuring implementation aligns with approved designs and resolving complex technical challenges
- Contribute to pre-sales and innovation by shaping solutions, supporting proposals, and building reusable frameworks that enhance delivery efficiency
Requirements
- Strong experience in solution architecture design, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), with solid knowledge of microservices, APIs, data platforms, and integration patterns
- Deep understanding of security, compliance, and scalable system design, with the ability to deliver robust, enterprise-grade solutions across complex ecosystems
- Proven capability to design and guide end-to-end architectures across full lifecycle delivery, balancing business priorities with technical constraints
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and experience delivering digital transformation initiatives in complex, global environments
- Healthcare domain knowledge, including interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, EDI), core systems (EHR/EMR, RCM), and applying AI/analytics to use cases like clinical support and claims optimization
- Strong consulting mindset with the ability to lead discovery, define solution vision, and translate business challenges into actionable technical strategies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, influencing decisions and facilitating complex discussions across executive and technical audiences.
- Collaborative leadership style with experience guiding cross-functional teams and driving alignment across business and technology stakeholders
This posting includes an anticipated salary range that SoftServe expects to offer for this position. The range provided reflects the base salary only. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, budget, and market conditions.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $122,000.00 – $192,000.00 annually, in line with our internal compensation framework and budget allocation for the role. Most candidates are offered a salary within this disclosed range. If the role is eligible for a variable pay plan, this would be considered separately and may provide additional earnings beyond the base salary range reflected here.
