The Technology Program Strategist leads enterprise initiatives that drive clinical transformation, improve patient care, optimize operational and financial performance, and advance digital health innovation. This role partners with executive leadership, physicians, operational stakeholders, and technology teams to align IT capabilities with strategic priorities, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. The position also leads cross-functional healthcare technology programs, enterprise governance, and organizational change management to deliver measurable business and clinical outcomes. This position manages implementations and enterprise governance.
Essential Job Function:
Lead enterprise platform excellence initiatives, aligning technology capabilities with clinical and operational priorities
Partner with clinical leaders to translate care delivery needs into platform enhancements that improve patient outcomes and clinician workflows
Drives continuous improvement initiatives focused on workflow standardization, interoperability, automation, system adoption, user experience, data integrity, cybersecurity alignment, and platform performance optimization
Coordinate cross-functional program delivery to ensure seamless alignment among IT, data, security, and clinical operations teams
Mentor and advance high-performing program and operational teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and service excellence across the technology and data portfolio
Maintains enterprise governance for relevant applications. Standardizes implementation methodologies, documentation, and build practices across application teams.
Coordinates governance committees, steering committees, and executive decision-making forums.
Education:
Required: Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience leading enterprise healthcare IT programs, and cross-functional projects within large complex integrated health systems.
Preferred: Previous experience in a hospital/health system and related certifications.
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
Preferred: Certification related to specific IT technologies associated with assigned IT programs.
