Technology Support Specialist (Onsite)

We're looking for a Technology Support Specialist for an onsite role in Columbia, SC.

Work Authorization: U.S. citizens and Green Card holders only. Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 years of technical help desk experience or other job-related experience.
• Experience with MS Office
• Strong customer service and written communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot web application issues and support users through email-based inquiries

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and provide Customer Technical Support for our DEX application
• Serve as the initial point of contact for customer inquiries received through the support inbox
• Ensure Application Users have a positive experience
• Proactively assist stakeholders in getting the desired outcome from the application
• Troubleshoot issues and provide clear guidance and document solutions

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job related degree (Management Information, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Integrated Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Applied Statistics / Statistics, Mathematics – Applied Math (Not Education Track), STEM - Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Health Sciences, Physics

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service and written communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot web application issues effectively. They should have a background in relevant fields such as Computer Science or Information Technology and be able to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance. Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to support users through email-based inquiries are essential.

The hourly rate for this position is $27.11.
