Telemedicine Nurse Navigator

Job Summary

Demonstrate competent clinical skills; utilize critical thinking to identify and meet needs: achieve positive patient outcomes through group process: display leadership traits that contribute to attainment of patient and departmental goals: assist with unit QI/research projects; identify actual ethical/legal issues and implement appropriate nursing applications. (Competent). Ability to register patients and communicate effectively with multiple providers.

Responsibilities

This position will provide registration and scheduling

Clinical duties at the facility.

Working with the departments within CAMC to coordinate schedules for patients

Perform as a "sales liaison" to help promote the CAMC TeleMedicine program.

The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.

Education

• Associate's Degree (Required) Experience: 2 Years of RN experience Substitution: May substitute Formal Nursing Program for the Associate Degree
• Bachelor's Degree
