Job Title: Telemetry Technician
Location: New York, NY - 10029
Duration: 03 months Contract
Schedule: 7:00P - 7:30A (EOW)
Hourly rate: $43/hour on W2 (Negotiable)

Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry Technician experience – Required
- Active Telemetry Certification – Required
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Perform continuous ECG/EKG monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
- Analyze ECG strips and identify arrhythmias/dysrhythmias.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening cardiac rhythm changes.
- Initiate codes and document cardiac rhythms during code events.
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) with proper electrode placement.
- Troubleshoot telemetry and monitoring equipment issues.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to monitor alarms.
- Enter and verify physician orders in the computer system.
- Retrieve and communicate laboratory results to the charge nurse.
- Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and regulatory standards.
- Operate monitoring and medical equipment safely and correctly.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and the healthcare team.
- Strong ECG rhythm interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of cardiac dysrhythmias.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced acute care environment.
