Job Summary:This position requires the handling of customer transactions in regards to receiving and paying out money, keep records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial institutions various transactions. Ensure transactions meet compliance with federal, state, and local banking regulations and procedures. Withdrawal and/or deposit monetary instruments for customer. Available to supply customers with help in the areas of accounting information. Essential Functions:Maintains and balances personal teller cash drawerProcesses deposits, withdrawals, check-cashing requests, savings bonds redemptions, credit card advances, commercial deposits, loan payments, and cashier checks.Gather information for Currency Transaction ReportsProcesses buying and selling of monies to/from the vaultCarry out special services for customers, such as receiving debit card applications and check ordersPrepare, verify, and process safe deposit box rental paymentsEnsure vault cash balances are correctCount and roll coins for customers as neededLoad ATM cassettes with correct denominations under dual controlDemonstrates knowledge and expertise of basic teller functions and supports the Company's overall mission, standards, policies and procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.Ensures customer satisfaction and reports any concerns to supervisorAdditional Functions:F&M Product knowledgeWire Transfer knowledgePrepare Stop PaymentsPlace Holds on accounts as requiredLoad ATM cassettes to ATMsAccount MaintenanceProduct KnowledgeOther duties as assigned by managementSpecialty dutiesOnline banking supportE-statement supportHigh-level customer requestsRequirements (Education, Experience):High School Diploma5+ years experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Team playerGood verbal and written communication skillsGood interpersonal skills; able to work well with a wide range of people.Good organizational and time management skills.Strong sense of customer service.Strong attention to detail.Basic math skillsStrong basic computer skills.Ability to multi-taskPhysical Requirements:This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:Sitting/standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).Noise level consistent with regular office WORKING CONDITIONS:Normal office environment.
