We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized temporary staff member to assist with the processing and management of reimbursements and travel expenses. This position requires someone who is capable of handling a variety of administrative tasks efficiently and accurately. Additionally, this position will review daily transactions, reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards, and perform month-end closing.ResponsibilitiesReview and process employee reimbursement and travel expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policiesVerify and reconcile receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation for accuracyMaintain accurate records of all transactions and assist with generating monthly or quarterly reportsRespond to employee inquiries regarding reimbursement and travel expenses, providing timely supportConduct a thorough review of daily transactions, ensuring proper backup documentation and accuracyPost entries accurately and promptly into the accounting systemReview and reconcile general ledger accounts to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial dataInvestigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors that arise during the reconciliation processCollaborate with the accounting team to conduct research and analysis on various accounting issuesStay updated with accounting principles and regulationsEnsure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and accounting standardsStay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliancePrepare periodic P&L analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly reportsCompare the actual financial performance to the business plan and provide insights on variations and trendsAssist in the preparation of financial audits and provide support for audit-related activitiesPrepare relevant documentation and ensure compliance with audit requirementsReconcile remaining balance sheet balances such as prepaid expenses, amortization schedules, and other accountsFollow up to resolve open balances and ensure accurate and complete financial dataOther duties as assignedCompensation Range$25.00 - $27.00 per hour (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)SkillsProficiency in SAP or other ERP systems preferredHigh level of interpersonal skills requiredAccounting knowledge and experience preferredEducation & ExperienceBachelor's Degree PreferredMaster's Degree Required1 - 2 Years of Direct Experience in Accounting and/or Finance Required2 - 5 Years of Direct Experience PreferredGlovis America, Inc. adheres to the equal employment opportunity guidelines set forth by federal, state, and local laws.
