Temp-Cheerleading Coach

Posting Title: Temp-Cheerleading Coach Overview:

The head cheer coach will lead and direct the team’s practices and routines. They will help organize the choreography for the team. They will be present for the team when needed, and hold athletes accountable throughout the school year. 

Please note, this is a temporary, 10-month position.

Responsibilities:

• Coaching, Instruction- provide practice and game day routine planning, implementation, and assessment.
• Training- Help train the team physically, and allow them to meet team needs.
• Recruitment- Assist in recruiting prospective members to join the team, and retain them.
• Compliance- Ensure compliance with regulations from the university and the cheer team governing board.
• Fundraising- Give ideas for the team to raise money through fundraising efforts.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

High school diploma. Coaching cheerleading, preferably at high school or collegiate level.
